Where are you based?

One Oake is based in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, a charming seaside town in the UK. While we’re rooted in Essex, we plan weddings across London, the Home Counties, and throughout the UK. We also work with couples based internationally.

We are not based in the UK, can you still help us ?

How many weddings do you plan at one time?

To give each couple my full attention, I take on a limited number of weddings per year. If you're interested in full-service wedding planning, get in touch early to check availability.

Do you only plan weddings?

No! I also plan private parties, anniversaries, and special celebrations. Get in touch to discuss your event and check my availability.

What are your payment terms?

For Full or Bespoke Planning:

· 40% deposit to secure the date

· 40% due three months before your wedding

· Final 20% due one month before

For On-the-Day Coordination:

· 50% deposit to book

· 50% one month prior to your wedding

Your full payment schedule will be clearly outlined in your custom proposal.

Will I still have control over my wedding if I hire a planner?

Absolutely! I’m here to support your vision, not take over. I’ll research and present the best suppliers and ideas for your budget, but you make all the final decisions. Think of me as your wedding PA, detail-obsessed and totally in sync with your style.

Do you plan marquee weddings?

Yes! I love marquee weddings! They offer so much creative freedom and flexibility. I’ve planned many marquee weddings across Essex, Suffolk, and Kent. Take a look at some of our previous marquee weddings here.

Do we have to use your preferred suppliers?

Not at all. While I have strong relationships with trusted wedding suppliers in the UK, all choices are yours. I’ll recommend options based on your style and budget, but there's no obligation.

Are you insured?

Yes. One Oake holds full Public Liability Insurance for peace of mind and professionalism.

Are you available for evening or weekend calls?

Yes. I offer flexible consultation times, including evenings and weekends, via my online diary. If you need a custom slot, I’m happy to accommodate.

Are there any additional fees?

All fees are fully detailed in your proposal, for full planning the quoted included everything such as travel and accommodation and any pre or post events. For other services the only potential extras are travel and accommodation costs for myself or my team, depending on your venue location and timeline.
