Where are you based?One Oake is based in Essex in the seaside town of Leigh on Sea. But I plan weddings all over the UK, last year weddings took me to London and the Cotswolds and next year I will be working in Sussex, Suffolk and Kent.

Are you insured?Yes, I am fully insured with public liability insurance.

Will you be there on the wedding day?Yes! All services apart for Ask Aimee include me being there on site for your wedding day for the agreed amount of time included in your service.

How many weddings and events do you plan at one time?I make sure each and every client gets the time and dedication they deserve , so because of this I only take on a limited amount of full planning weddings each year, so it’s best to get in touch as soon as you are ready to check availability.

Do you plan marquee weddings?Yes! I love a marquee wedding and have planned many over the years. Take a look at some of our previous marquee weddings here.

We are not based in the UK can you still help us?Of course! I work with many international couples and are currently working with clients based in Canada and the USA. Last year I worked with a couple based in Switzerland and planned their entire wedding in the Cotswolds, so it’s not problem at all! I’ll work around your time zone and schedules to organise meetings at a suitable time for you

I think what I need is in-between a few of your services can they be tailored?Of course, I do this a lot for couples! All services mentioned on the website are able to be tailored as not every wedding is the same. We can discuss in more detail about the level of support you are looking for during your consultation, then following this I will provide you with a tailored service in your proposal that will suit your planning needs and budget.

Will I still have control over my wedding if I hire a planner?Of course! I’m there to help with your planning but you will make all decisions relating to the wedding and I will action them on your behalf. Think of me as your wedding PA.

Do you only plan weddings?No! I can also plan parties, just get in touch through the contact form to discuss your ideas and check availability.

Do you have a preferred suppliers that you work with and do we have to use them?I’m lucky that I get work with many talented suppliers each season and as your wedding planner my job is to pair you with the best suppliers possible to create your vision. However every supplier choice is yours, I will provide you with suggestions of suppliers I have worked with previously or have come from a trusted recommendation but there is no pressure to use these suppliers at all.

Are you available to talk at evenings/weekends?Yes, when we need to schedule a call I will send you a link to my online diary that has a range of evening and weekend availability for you, but if for any reason these times don’t work I can open up more time slots.

What are your payment terms?For Full and Bespoke Planning there is a 40% deposit, a further 40% 3 months prior to the wedding date then dependant if your service is based on a percentage or flat fee there would either be 20% or 15% a month before with the remaining 5% to be paid after the wedding. For on the day management payments are 50% deposit with the final 50% due one month before the wedding.

Are there any additional fees for your service that we need to consider?All fees are broken down in your proposal which I will supply to you following your initial consultation, the only additional fee you may need to consider would be travel and accommodation for Aimee on the team, dependant on where your wedding is located and how many days are needed on site.

Can you fix a fee instead of percentage?This is possible for larger budgets and would be something that would be discussed during your initial consultation and presented to you in your proposal.
