I'm Aimée, the founder, lead planner, and the passionate heart behind One Oake.
Event planning is truly in my blood, having grown up watching my mum master the art of hosting. My career took off with an exhilarating internship alongside a renowned celebrity planner in London – a whirlwind experience reminiscent of 'The Devil Wears Prada'. The energy was addictive, and I craved more! I then honed my skills as a wedding and private events manager at two high end leading venues, while also working alongside talented event stylists and caterers. After years of invaluable experience, I launched One Oake. With 13 years in the industry and a genuine passion for planning beautiful celebrations, I’ve had the privilege of helping countless couples bring their dream weddings to life. I'm wholeheartedly dedicated to crafting your unique wedding story and making it a reality.

One Oake is based in Essex in the seaside town of Leigh on Sea. But I plan weddings all over the UK, last year weddings took me to London and the Cotswolds and next year I will be working in Sussex, Suffolk and Kent.

Yes, I am fully insured with public liability insurance.

Yes! All services apart for Ask Aimee include me being there on site for your wedding day for the agreed amount of time included in your service.

I make sure each and every client gets the time and dedication they deserve , so because of this I only take on a limited amount of full planning weddings each year, so it’s best to get in touchas soon as you are ready to check availability.

Of course! I work with many international couples and are currently working with clients based in Canada and the USA. Last year I worked with a couple based in Switzerland and planned their entire wedding in the Cotswolds, so it’s not problem at all! I’ll work around your time zone and schedules to organise meetings at a suitable time for you

Of course! I’m there to help with your planning but you will make all decisions relating to the wedding and I will action them on your behalf. Think of me as your wedding PA.

No! I can also plan parties, just get in touch through the contact form to discuss your ideas and check availability.

All fees are broken down in your proposal which I will supply to you following your initial consultation, the only additional fee you may need to consider would be travel and accommodation for Aimee on the team, dependant on where your wedding is located and how many days are needed on site.
